We’re extremely proud of Cilla Baynes, CAN’s Creative Director and Co-Founder, who recently won an Inspiring Change Award as part of 2018’s Southbank’s WOW Women of the World Festival for her development of Exodus our Greater Manchester Refugee Arts programme.
Cilla collected her award in March at the WOW – Women in the Creative Industries Awards which took place at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The awards are the first-ever cross-sector awards to celebrate the pivotal role of women in the cultural and creative sectors and to honour exceptional women.
The Inspiring Change Award recognises the contribution of women instrumental in effecting positive social change, unleashing the creativity of others and giving a platform to important stories through their work in the creative industries.
