CAN Young Artists launch Global Voice Box for Autumn 2024

Exciting news! Global Voice Box is here. And it’s free!

Are you aged 13 – 18 years?

We’re rolling out the next part of the CAN Young Artists programme with a new project Global Voice Box and we’d love you to be part of it!

Do you want to participate in a free and exciting creative project where you can use music, drama, spoken word, visual and digital arts to talk about the issues that matter to you?

Share your culture.

Explore your identity.

Share what you see with your eyes.

You’ll work with professional artists who will support you in developing your creative skills.

Global Voice Box is aimed at young people new to the UK, including those who are refugees or asylum seekers and young people from host communities.

During the programme, we’ll visit other art venues to get to know Manchester and everything that’s going on.

The project is free, and all levels of English are welcome.

We’ll pay your travel costs – just show us your bus or tram ticket.

Plus, there’s free food at the end of the session.

The project begins on Wednesday 11 September, between 5.30pm  –  8pm to find out about how you can take part and meet other young people.

Then the project runs every Wednesday evening from 5.30pm – 8pm
