Digital Sparks is a digital media project highlighting the issues that effect the homeless community in Rochdale through a series of short films

Digital Sparks

Digital Sparks is a digital media project produced by CAN and developed by The Petrus Community who provide support to people with housing needs.

The creative process is led by AlbinoMosquito, a leading creative agency based in the heart of Manchester, who deliver sets and AV design for theatre, music videos, documentaries, app development, viral marketing campaigns, animation and gallery installation work.

Digital Sparks resulted in two short films, RoofLess and There’s a Hole in My Sidewalk that were shown at Touchstones Gallery and other venues across Rochdale

Roofless is a moving video portrait of the lives of people who are in housing need, and are involved with the Petrus Community. There’s a Hole in My Sidewalk is a short allegory about addiction based on the poem by Portia Nelson.
