Kal followed on from Message from Žarko, with young men aged 13-18 from Kámoši at Manchester Academy with Kal, an international Serbian Band  as part of the Platforma Festival in November 2013. This opportunity to perform and work with Kal supported their need of a positive role model strengthen their identity and culture.

Young Roma rappers from Kámoši youth group in Leigh performed with internationally-acclaimed Serbian Roma Band, KAL at Manchester Academy 3 on 6 Nov 2013. Kámoši, meaning ‘friend’ in Slovak, includes Slovakian, Czech Republic and Roma-heritage young people & their friends – this being the first time that they’d perform at such a high-profile gig.
