Manchester programme

Hear Me Now,  part of CAN’s 3-year Manchester youth arts programme, successfully created ground-breaking and original performance work that set a standard for high quality productions with young people new to the arts.

CAN worked with high-end professional artists to make this a positive experience where young people had access to return to reach their full potential.

Young people created Our Choice, Their Chance an interactive performance that invited the audience into a ‘gallery of decisions’ where the young performers ‘improvised, rapped, body-popped through a tombola of outcomes; a random raffle of live performance and digital wizardry’.

This led to four performances of the final production on  30 & 31 May 2014 at STUN based at Z-Arts in Hulme, Manchester.
