Lizzie is Executive PA at Community Arts North West.

Lizzie has a number of years experience working in the marketing sector and is passionate about the arts and social change. Her degree at SOAS (University of London) focused on the arts and cultures of South Asia and the MENA region.

At CAN she manages the office and marketing of the company’s creative programme. Her role involves working closely with both Directors to support the development of the company, making sure the business runs smoothly. This includes writing the reports to our core funders (Arts Council England and Manchester City Council), leading on GDPR and producing company policies, monitoring of the company’s work and data collection, office co-ordination and management, and various elements of company administration including event management. She is also responsible for the marketing of the CAN creative programme, drawing up and executing marketing strategies and campaigns, and driving forward the digital engagement of the website and social media accounts.

Lizzie is also an award-winning artist, who draws freehand patterns. In particular she is inspired by the architecture of Asia and the Middle East, and collects ideas during her travels to feed into her mandalas, collaborations, community work, and workshops.
