CAN’s youth programme kicks off with 2 amazing performance opportunities

Young Roma rappers from Kámoši youth group in Leigh will perform with internationally-acclaimed Serbian Roma Band, Kal on 6 Nov 2013 from 7.30pm (show starts at 9pm) at Manchester Academy 3.

Kámoši, meaning ‘friends’ in Slovak, includes Slovakian, Czech Republic and Roma heritage young people & their friends – this being the first time that they will perform at such a high-profile gig.

Young people from CAN’s Manchester and Wigan youth programmes will fuse dance, drama and spoken word on Sat 16 Nov 2013 at 3.30pm in the Studio Space at Royal Exchange Theatre.

This free event is part of the annual Truth about Youth Festival which allows young people from across the North West to have a voice and creatively showcase their ideas.
