Digital media training for artists & creatives

Are you an artist or creative, unemployed or working less than 8 hours a week? Would you like to develop your digital media skills and promote yourself better? Are you interested in sharing your knowledge and being part of a creative network?

DO i.t. is a new training course that will show participants how to use free & open source software to record and edit audio & video, design a website and other promotional material and develop an effective online profile & presence.

DO i.t. will take place at CAN every Wednesday from 10am to 4pm starting on Wed 10 July and ending on Wed 11 September.

Priority for this training course will be given to participants from culturally diverse communities (including refugees) and other disadvantaged groups. We are aiming for 50% of course participants to be women. You must be a Greater Manchester resident, eligible to work within the UK and currently working less than 8 hours a week.

The training course is free and travel costs will be covered.
