Community Arts North West and RNCM presented an evening of music with an international flavor to celebrate Refugee Week.

Manchester International Roots Orchestra is a unique new ensemble of musicians with roots from across the world and students from the RNCM. Their repertoire skilfully weaves together diverse musical influences from the haunting melodies of Eastern Europe, to the delicate textures of the Middle East, to soulful African gospel embracing rap, classical and jazz along the way.

Led by Emmanuela Yogolelo, Testimony performs joyful music with a message of hope inspired by African Gospel, Afro Jazz, Congolese dance music & American R&B.
