EXODUS SHORTS FILM JAM FREE SCREENING
Fri 18 Feb, 7-9pm
International Anthony Burgess Foundation, Cambridge Street, M1 5BY*
Can a woman hold up a building? Can there be two versions of me? Is there really such a thing as a happy ending? Is Manchester the city of love or the herald of the apocalypse? These questions and more will be answered through the medium of film.
Four workshops in 2 days are all that’s needed for a group of people from all over the world to embark on an intensive, four-day film-making fest.
Community Arts North West and AlbinoMosquito present a screening of short films from new and seasoned film makers whose backgrounds include France, Nigeria, England, Mauritius, Portugal, Congo, Libya, Iran, Mozambique, Spain, Burma and Scotland.
* The International Anthony Burgess Foundation is a short walk from the BBC on Oxford Road - see link below for directions. It has a performance area for new works by artists, writers and musicians; a bar and an extensive library on Anthony Burgess's work. http://www.anthonyburgess.org/
